Charity Christmas cards - still a huge selection!

We've sold more charity cards than ever this year, and we've still got plenty left. So if you've forgotten your Aunt Maisie, again, or you're simply running late, just pop down to RIC. We have probably the best selection in Richmond, with cards from children's charities, health charities, welfare charities, military charities, animal charities, rescue charities... Here's a full list.

Whatever good causes you support, visit Richmond Information Centre in the Market Hall for a swift top-up. You'll be doing good, and at just £4.99 for a pack of up to 10 cards, you won't break the bank.

We're open daily, 10:00 - 16:00.

New Year fireworks in Reeth

8/12/2024

Picture
There's a family fireworks display on Reeth Green at 19:00 on New Year's Day. You read that right - New Year's Day, not New Year's Eve. We don't know why that date, but it seems to have become a local tradition, and it's a very popular event. Reeth is a great place to see fireworks, surrounded as it is by an amphitheatre of hills, and particularly if there's a clear, black sky.

Got a rumbling tum? There's a barbecue, too, for the hungry!

No admission charge is asked for, but a collection will be taken to support future village events.

December's here! With so much going on, here's a list of some of the 'long-stay' events in Richmond. For a fuller listing, visit What's On Richmond now.
  • Wednesday 4 Dec to5 January, Georgian Theatre Royal. This year's pantomime is Treasure Island.  Buckle your swash, and come to a real, old-fashioned panto in a real, old-fashioned theatre, with loads of laughs, awful puns, catchy songs, Tunnocks Teacakes and knitted ice creams. Only in Richmond...
  • Wednesday 4 Dec to 22 Dec, The Station Cafe/Bar is offering a two-or three-course festive meal, served daily from midday. Why not take in a film afterwards? Speaking of which...
  • Throughout the month, at the Station Cinema, you'll find one or more of these playing: Gladiator 2, Moana 2, Paddington in Peru, Wicked, Conclave, Elf, Andre Rieu, Die Hard, Cinderella, Home Alone, The Nutcracker, The Polar Express, Love Actually, Sonic the Hedgehog... Good grief! It would be worth getting snowed in!
  • Friday 6 Dec to14 Dec: A Spot on the Wall, Richmond's biggest and most popular open art exhibition brings an amazing collection of talented makers and artists to The Station. Almost every wall will be covered, and everything's for sale!
  • And all through the month, at Richmond Information Centre, in the Market Hall, from 10 to 4, you'll find the largest selection of Charity Christmas Cards in town. Get down here before they're all gone!
