New to Richmond? Don't know what to do now the evenings are drawing in? Join a club! 

Bog-snorkelling, spider-collecting... No, these aren't on offer, yet, but dozens of other activities and interests are supported in Richmond. They include sports and music of all kinds, dance, amateur dramatics, local history, and chess and bridge and much much more... 

A quick check among our own volunteers showed that they enjoy...

• Scottish Country Dancing
• Pickleball (what?)
• History talks
• Playing in a (very good) local classical orchestra
• Singing (we have lots of choral singers, it seems)
• Scrabble and Bridge
• Cycling
• Running (for the super-active) and Bowls for the not-so-active

...and much more. And let's not forget...

• Volunteering! Most community groups are on the lookout for volunteers, and there are many other volunteer opportunities available in town, if you have energy and skills to spare and would enjoy meeting like-minded enthusiasts.
