Swaledale Festival Events in Richmond

This year's wonderful Swaledale Festival kicks off soon. We're lucky in Richmond, as we have some of the Festival's largest venues - so tickets don't sell out quite so fast! Here are the local events which still have tickets available:

• 27 May, 19:30. Manchester Baroque performs Handel, Corelli and more Baroque delights. Influence Church.
• ​28 May, 10:30; also on 4 June. Three-hour foraging walk. Meet at Round Howe Car Park.
• 28 May, 19:30. Pascal Rogé and Elena Font. Legendary pianist in works by Ravel, Debussy, de Falla. Influence Church.
• 30 May, 19:30. Chamber Classics. A programme of intimate music centred on Fauré’s passionate Piano Quartet. Influence Church.
• 1 June, 13:00. The Golden Princess. Delightful puppet theatre for all ages (photo). Georgian Theatre Royal.
• 3 June, 16:00. Orchestra Exchange between the orchestras of Richmond School and Bammental School, visiting from Germany. St Mary's Church.
• ​3 June, 19:30. Carducci Quartet: superb chamber quartet makes a welcome return, with music by Schubert, Ravel, Caroline Shaw. Influence Church.
• 4 June, 16:00. People Show - famous experimental theatre company explores Artificial Intelligence and the truth. Topical! Georgian Theatre Royal.
• 5 June, 10:30. Guided Walk with the Save Our Swale eco-group. Meet at the Fosse car park.
