A Family Fun day is going to be held on June 4th from 1pm-3pm in the Friary Gardens, Richmond. This is a free event with children's sports, craft and storytelling by Rhoda Fraser. There will be games stalls provided by the Duck Club, free Shuggy boat rides, drinks and snacks. So come along and join in the fun.
Here's a podcast from Susan's Inside Yorkshire site. If it doesn't work, try this link.
Come to Richmond Castle Friday 3rd June and Sat 4th June to experience the sights and sounds of Norman life at the Castle!
See the armoury and heft a sword or try on a hauberk; discuss the fashions of the time or listen to the cooks and try some of the food that would have graced the tables. Observe as they train to keep their fighting skills in trim!
Richmond Castle is one of the greatest Norman fortresses in Britain.
