Willance House
24 Frenchgate, Richmond DL10 4AG

A charming oak-beamed house dating from 1600, Willance House was built by an Alderman of Richmond, and is the oldest home in town. Now a warm, modern, comfortable 4-star B&B, it is the perfect base for visitors to Richmond.

The house is set on a wide cobbled street of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century buildings, and is a two-minute walk from Richmond’s great Market Place, where a good variety of shops and restaurants may be found.

On arrival, guests may relax in the comfortable guest lounge, with its original oak beam, Georgian fireplace and exposed floorboards, and enjoy complimentary tea or coffee.

The three individually decorated en-suite rooms have king-sized or twin beds, and are continuously refurbished to the highest standards. Egyptian cotton bed linen, flat screen digital television with freeview and digital radio, wi-fi, hospitality tray, hair dryer, alarm clock, fresh flowers, complimentary toiletries and luxury towels - all are standard.

In the morning, enjoy an extensive and much-praised breakfast, with fresh produce from local suppliers to set you up for the day.

Sandra and Colin Willoughby look forward to offering you a warm and friendly welcome.
