Stay local to enjoy a more relaxing pre-Christmas shopping experience. That's the message from the proudly independent retailers in Richmond, where late night shopping really gets going from 28 November. Businesses taking part include York House for gifts and furnishings, The Station, Mocha chocolate shop, the Little Dress Shop, Berber Leather, Sip Coffee, King Street Kitchen and Gift, Trinity Fashion, CJ Lightfoot jewellers, Roots and Shoots florists on the trading estate, and Kiss the Moon (photo) at Aske Stables. Other shops and cafes will open late on 3 December, when the Christmas lights are switched on in Friary Gardens. Most late nights will be Thursdays, but do check here for details. There are almost 100 retailers in Richmond. Shop local! Save petrol and shoe-leather, and let your local businesses help you find something a bit special!
