Lifeline Grant for Georgian Theatre means more tours

Richmond's Georgian Theatre has received over £50,000 from the Government's Culture Recovery Fund.

As well as helping to pay overheads which would normally have been covered from ticket sales, the funding will enable the Georgian to continue its guided heritage tours - which normally end in October - on weekdays throughout November, December and January. There are also plans to run special events such as festive tours and evening candlelit tours, in addition to the regular scheduled tours taking place on the hour between 10am and 4pm.

Visitors to the Georgian in the next few months will also be able to view the progress of the auditorium development project designed to provide more comfortable seating and improved views of the stage.
