Local 'Spiderwoman' on a desert island...

Baroness (Brenda) Hale of Richmond was Lauren Laverne's guest on today's Desert Island Discs. Recently President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, Yorkshire-born Lady Hale was involved in some monumental judgments, but is perhaps equally well know for her flamboyant taste in brooches (see photo) - hence the nickname 'Spiderwoman' .
