It's a rare treat when the Green Howards Museum welcomes visitors into its stores - and you could be one of those six privileged visitors this Monday, 8 November. Curator Lynda Powell will explain why some of the military museum's precious objects are kept under wraps, describe the challenges of storage, conservation and display, and lift the lid on rarely seen items from the Museum's treasured collection. As well as exclusive access to the Museum's stores, at 11:00, the £10 ticket gets you Museum entry (from 10:30), so you can enjoy the Museum's public displays, and the current Special Exhibitions: The Show Must go On! and Treasures in Store . Please wear a face mask during the Stores Tour, which takes about 40 minutes. More details and ticket booking here. If you miss out this time, the next Stores Tours are 22 November and 6 December.
