Learn how to reduce the carbon footprint of your household, and save money! Richmond's first Eco-festival’ next Saturday will see members of the Richmondshire Climate Action Partnership promoting green living. There will be practical advice on air-source heat pumps and solar panels, recycling tips from Richmond Recycling and North Yorkshire Rotters, and feedback on the very successful Newton-le-Willows eco project. Electric cars and bikes will be on display, and children can enjoy arts activities with Hayley Coates. The Eco-festival is in Richmond Methodist Church Hall on 2 October. Drop in at any time from 10:00 until 15:00. Admission is free.
