What ELSE is on in Richmond?

There's always a lot going on in our little town. Much of it is described in the calendar section of our two-monthly What's On Richmond publication (free from most Richmond shops and the Information Centre).

Because there's so much activity, we can't squeeze every event into the calendar. That's why we have a separate section in the back of What's On, for regular and recurrent events. Look out for it!

Here's a little selection. Whether you're local or just passing through, you'll be made very welcome at all these events. (Most of them have links you can click for further details.)

• Free guided town walks. 11:00 Thursday and Saturday, led by Info Centre volunteers
• Hourly tours of the Georgian Theatre Royal, restarting 12 February.
• Civic Society talks on local and not-so-local history, every first Wednesday at 19:30.
• Scrabble! Wednesdays, 19:00, in the Buck Inn. Just turn up! No board needed.
• Evening runs: Tuesdays and Thursdays 18:45, with the Swaledale Runners.
• Sunday and mid-week walks in Swaledale and around, with the Richmondshire Ramblers
• Richmond Folk Club - free sessions Fridays 19:30 - 22-30 at the Black Lion Hotel
• Royal British Legion meets every second Thursday, 19:00, at the Bishop Blaize pub.
